The PADI Open Water Diver course is the most popular, widely recognized and respected qualifications in the world! If you have already tried a PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience or are PADI Scuba Diver certified, see how credit from these courses may apply to the open water program. PADI sets the standards for safe diving all over the world. This course is based upon a five part video, supported by an easy to read Open Water Manual. Your Instructor will guide you through the academic work to complete four multiple choice mini-tests and a final exam. The practical training is divided into five confined water sessions and four open water sessions. During these sessions your Instructor will teach you all the skills required for safe and enjoyable diving. All the equipment you require is included, all you require is a towel, bathing costume and a sense of adventure. This course is a performance based programme, which allows you to proceed as you master the skills you require.On completion you will be certificated as a PADI Open Water Diver and allowed to dive with a buddy independent of a professional to a maximum depth of 18 metres. This is your first step in your exploration of the aquatic realm, and you can progress from here to the Advanced Open Water level, where you will learn the skills to expand your adventures.
