Entry Level: Open Water / Jnr OW(or qualifying certification from another organization)

Our knowledge of the aquatic realm is often steeped in myth and hearsay. The undersea world is one of great beauty and life, lived in an environment so different to ours. The objective of this course is to create an awareness of the submarine world so that we may observe and interact with organisms so different to our land based world.

We are privileged to venture below the waves, but in doing so we have a responsibility to respect and preserve this environment. By understanding what we are seeing, and dispelling the myths, we can help protect and live in harmony with our inner space.

At the discretion of your instructor, the Underwater Naturalist dive from your "Adventures in Diving" program may be counted towards this specialty course. On completion you can credit this specialty course towards your Master Scuba Diver Qualification.
