Rescue Diver

Course Duration: 4 - 5 Days

Minimum age: 15 years (14 years for Junior Rescue Divers)

Course Cost: 400 € (including manual and certification)

Entry Requirements:

  • PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (or qualifying certification from another training organization)
  • PADI Emergency First Responder (or qualifying certification from another training organization)

 

This is a course is for the serious diver, taking your training to a new level. Not only being better able to take care of yourself, but now you are learning to look after your fellow divers. This course in conjunction with the EFR course will provide you with the skills to rescue resuscitate and recover divers in distress.

Following the rescue diver video and manual you will study,

  • Self Rescue and Diver Stress
  • Diving First Aid
  • Emergency Management
  • Equipment.

In the water you will learn the 12 skills which will enable you to assess and take appropriate actions in various situations.

  • Unconscious Diver at the Surface
