Entry Level: Open Water / Junior Open Water (or qualifying certification from another organization)

Lost treasure or an expensive pair of sunglasses, to find and recover objects from the seabed is both interesting and satisfying. Whether the area is large or small it will require a thorough and systematic search.

This course, conducted over 4 dives, will take you through the principles and preparation of search patterns, navigation and the lifting and recovery techniques available. It will explain how to lift objects safely how to tie knots and the precautions to take when using lifting bags and ropes underwater.

At the discretion of your instructor, the S&R dive from your "Adventures in Diving" programme may be counted towards this specialty course. On completion you can credit this specialty course towards your Master Scuba Diver Qualification.
